If there is a negative sign in front of a parentheses all the positive signs inside the parentheses will become negative and the negative signs become positive.
Hence-(4m-3n) will become -4m+3n after removing the parentheses
Both distributive property and multiplication are used for this purpose but that is only theoretical

-(4m-3n) = -1(4m -3n)
Distribute the negative one
-4m + 3n
