So far, I've deduced that he is Scottish, he has an ulcer, and he doesn't drink.

haha... look love... you got it all wrong... on the wagon is a woman... probably a very masculine possibly lesbian woman. i used to wonder the same thing. heres a what ive figure out...

Being Scottish he would certainly have began drinking as a teenager. The ulcer will be the reason why he gave up.
