Furnace dealer put a oversized furnace in our house. I asked them to correct it, but the salesman don't seem to care. The owner said he will perform sizing calculation and replace the equipment if needed. The manufacturer said they guarantee 100% satisfaction. If I don't like it, they said that they will refund it. If the dealer tricks me, I am thiking about returning the whole furnace. My question is, what if the dealer refuses to refund me the purchase? Do I have any legal right to get the full refund? Or, 100 percent satisfaction is a piece of crap which does not have any legal meaning?

The manufacturer does not expose their contact information, and the manufacture does not seem to have any customer support for this type of issue. In this case, if the dealer does not change and the manufacturer refuses to take any action, what will be the step? I want to avoid legal actions because I don't have time and money to pay legal fees.

You do have the right... but is it worth pursuing legal advice and action? If the refund is worth more than the legal cost, you probably should go for it. You will need legal muscle to push this, otherwise, they probably won't budge.

Thankfully, I have a legal consultation service plan which allows me to get consultation and legal recourse in case I need it - for a low monthly fee. I got it from Pre-paid Legal Services: http://www.prepaidlegal.com/hub/ingrams

Actually, they are contractually bound to give you 100% satisfaction, within reasonable standards. It is a warranty. I suggest you contact the manufacturer and tell them exactly what problem you are having.
