Doesn't matter what the price...

Many, many times, I've heard jazz drummers with great rides. Most of those times, the cymbal is Zildgan. I don't know the name of the model but I do know that it has a big "K" on it. All the "K" cymbals are very sweet.

I play on Paiste, but I would get the "K" if I had my choice.

In a nutshell: Zildjian family moved to New Brunswick, Canada, and manufactured some of the world's finest cymbals.... sons continued the business, but split over differences...
one continues to manufacture under the Zildjian name, the other in the US under the Sabian name....
Pretty much the same skills/quality/expertise....
Pick either - both among the world's best...
