It appears on the box you can only do certain tricks during the missions. I liked free roaming, and being able to put together your own combos, etc. Does 8 let you do this? How does this game compare to the earlier ones?

This game is better the career mode is alot Better! They have also gotten rid of all of those silly wacky missions. It is a pure skate boarding game now focused back on the players skill. Instead of picking a skill level in the begining of the game you must show that you can pull off the tricks. Example of this is you need to do a grind there used to be 3 levels and you would have to do them all now the objectives are all at once you have the same grind but you can choose and see the lines that determine amature pro or sick level of the skill. This is by far the best Tony Hawk game yet!

Yes it is a better than the previous games. There are many new thing you can do in it. There is the thing called nail the trick mode where you con troll the skaters feet to make new tricks. there is also a new challenge where you have to beat personal records. There is also a new story and many more things!

Are you crazy!? Project 8 is way better than previous games. It has a better storyline, graphics, moves, and everything! I can't wait until I but it!!!
