Just depends because there is always didn't people online at all different times, all with different opinions etc. So you may get a completely different answer to the last question that someone else posted. So even though you may think it's stupid to ask the same/similar question you might just get very unique answer or more of a view from others. That's what so good about this site, everyone is different and everyone has different opinions on answering questions.

If I thought about it, I would definitely search for the question, but if I felt the question was too obscure to make previous answers likely or if I just didn't think about it, I'd ask anyway.

I wouldn't ask if it was something with a static answer, like 'who was the first Australian Prime Minister?' Most questions are progressive or very individual in nature, such as favourite movies/shows/music, and emotional responses to situations. Those, I'd ask again because you'll get totally different answers.

If I see one more person ask creamy or chuncky or how is the weather by you I will scream. I wish people would think before posting some questions. I mean it is common sence, dont you think someone has already asked how is the weather by you like 100 times tonight alone?!

If the answer was not what I was looking for, I would still ask the
question, but with perhaps more specifics to get the answer I
was looking for. If it's exactly the same question, probably not.

I'll ask any silly question regardless, but if I really need some important info, I'll do a search first and see what comes up. I'm not wasting my points on "Pepsi or coke?" "what's an emo?" or "where do you live?" or other FAQ's.

i'd ask again. even though this sounds silly it feels like they are directly speaking to me and answering MY question. ofcourse the answers will probably all be the same but for some reason it feels better having my own answers to my own question.

I would still ask it, if I wasn't here to see or answer it then yeah. You can't be here 24-7 to see all questions and answers.
