Its annoying. My mother in law does that with my sons juice, she opened 3 bottles of the same kind, put them all in the fridge, all in 2 hrs time. Its just a waste because the juice is only good for 2 days after its opened and he doesnt drink it that fast and we have to throw it out.

Yeah, I'm currently serving 10-12 because someone did that and it pushed me over the edge. I'd do it all over again, though. No sense in wasting soda.

Yes, I do think that it is inconsiderate to open a 2nd 2 liter if one is open already!

Yeah! Unless there's a lot of people over where you can be sure that the soda will be used up fairly quickly--otherwise, it's wasteful.

since I always felt that a 2 liter bottle was a single serving size, I say go for it, that means I don't have to share mine.
