good ?, I think it's going to be called the 2000s, then 2010s, 2020s, 2030s etc. We just can't call it the 80s or 90s anymore because that is reserved for the first millenium and may cause confusion.

In the rest of the English-speaking world "The Noughties" and "The Noughts" have come to be the most widely recognized and accepted terms. But these other suggestions usually represent the wishes of individuals, and do not generally represent any burgeoning consensus.
