Comedy, by far. Drama allows an actor to pull on lots of genuine feelings, and the chance to play off other actors in a way with which we are all familiar; ways that we have experienced and therefore have our own emotions to draw from. Comedy is out of our own take on things, and requires, in an old Yiddish theater phrase, "shtick"...a hook or handle on the moment, physical or emotional, that grabs an audience in the context of the conflict or problem, that emotes a shock, a fast reaction, something out of the norm, whereas drama is made of emotion, something I think is much easier to make happen than a joke. Comedy vs. tragedy? I'd take tragedy every time.

It depends, for some, being funny comes easy, for others they really have to work at it and some just cannot be funny....comedy is timing and quick wit. I would say comedy is harder....if you had an audience of 100 people, you can make them all believe you are sad or angry, but you cannot make them all laugh. We as people can recognize sadness or anger but we all cannot see comedy the same because everyone has their own opinion on what is funny...comedy, on stage or film is serious stuff....no joke.

my opinion, comedy would be harder to do. It takes a certain actor or director to pull off a comedy. You have to have the right timing, and be able to know how to grab the audience. Plus, it has the best outcome.

Thats difficult, both are hard when you do not believe in your charector. If you can relate to one than it is easier. I think comedy is easier because my life is comedic but I also am good at drama because my life is packed with it. I would overall say drama though.

Drama, becuz you have to try not to make it so dramatic that itz comedy
