Well, we share a washer and dryer with our neighbors and one of them also left a blue pall-point ink pen in a pocket. It exploded all over the inside of the dryer. I tried to wipe it out, but it was dried (cooked?) onto the dryer. I washed and dried some rag-towels and the ink didn't come off... it has been about 3 months since the pen exploded and although the ink was never removed, it has not tainted any of our clothing. So... if you don't find a good removal solution, perhaps all is not lost.

Regular ordinary comet will clean it up, but it does have bleach in it. If you clean it with any cleaner, and want to make sure that you have the cleaner out without damaging or staining the next load of clothes, I would suggest running a load of towels through the washer then the dryer for about 10 minutes on fluff and then back through the washer again. I am prone to having such accidents myself and this has worked for me in cleaning up ink and crayons in the past.

i have had rubbing alcohol eliminate blue ink from a white formal that were washed and dried many cases over 4 years and the stain nonetheless got here out! The alcohol dissolves the ink yet you'll also go with to totally wipe out the dryer with a humid sponge after utilising the alcohol to verify you purchased all of it.

spray old towels with raid, aresol hairspray or oops cleaner, the hairspray might smell the best, and then run in the dryer, it may take more than once to do it, run the towels in the washer and respray and run in the dryer, or spray the inside of the dryer drum and rub with towels,,,,,,, some say wd 40 works too.

The best thing for this is oops . its sold at hardware stores....but be sure to clean the inside after with a soapy cloth ....it is flammable. it also works to get ink and even dried paint off clothes.

you'll probably just have to lean in and clean it with a wet wash cloth.
