I would bet most people who read "Yahoo Answers" don't know that the Steve Miller Band goes back to the late 60's. For those interested in the early days, I would recommend "The Steve Miller Band' - Best of 1968-73" Some of my favorite early songs are "Living In The USA", "Going To Mexico,". "Song For Our Ancestors". "Your Saving Grace". "Quicksilver Girl" and "Space Cowboy".
Also, Boz Scaggs (who had a solo career in the late 70's. early 80;s) was an orignal member.
