It was cancelled unexpectedly when the WB merged with UPN, CW decided not to continue the show. none of the actors expected it but they left off with a nice ending.

Yes. I believe Amanda Bynes was ready to move on. She has more movie offers right now than she can do with the show.

Yes, the last new episode aired March 24, 2006.
When the WB and UPN merged to make the CW, many shows had to be canceled to fit into one network. What I Like About You was one of those shows that didn't make it to the CW.

i dont know its still on and i think its a very funny, good show i watched it a lot ..its on all the time on the airplanes and its usually on on fridays like 5 or 6
