also, a "system bus" of 533MHz...

I'm relatively inexperienced when it comes to buying computers, so i was wondering if these numbers are good or not.

It's ok, but I would not get anything less than 1.83 GHz using a Core Duo or equivalent processor.

It depends on what you want to be able to do with the nootbook. 1.6Ghz is more than enough for browsing the web, emailing, typing up documents, and listening to music. I wouldn't see needing a faster CPU unless you want to use it for Gaming. My notebook came with a 1.6 and it ran great. I did However upgrade to a 2.4 ghz when i began playing some very complex games (World of Warcraft). If your not looking to play high quality games the 1.6 Ghz should be fine.
