JohnAdams and Thomas Jefferson died on July 4.1826 the 50th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence . I do not know of any dying in 1827

On his death bed on Independence Day, 1826 John Adams uttered his last words. They were "Thomas Jefferson survives."
Ironically Jefferson had died only a few hours earlier.
