an answerer who thinks her answer is always the best and yet hasn't earned as many points as the asker
or an asker who picks best answer according to what she thinks is best ?
I'd say the first. The asker has the right to pick best answer or let others vote for it.

I agree with you, but I would also add the special stupidity award for those who actually troll these questions, looking to be offended so they can report people...

i agree. 'best' is subjective, in some cases, all of us may think our answers are the best, in one occasion or another...BUT in the case of Y!A the asker has the 'right of way' so to speak, so he/she should make the call.
