I would like to know this for a project im doing.
What substance should I 'draw' in.. say on a piece of paper, so that blood would follow it?

So say that X substance, if I draw a line on the table/paper and drop a drop of blood onto that line, that blood should fill that line up without going over too much.

Thank you for the help, and ideas.
Any ideas that you give me I will try out, and if that works Ill select you as best answer.

cut a thin line of toilet paper and cut one end so it looks like a sharpened pencil and comes to a point. Drop some blood at the pointed end of the line and it will slowly follow up the line. I don't know if you have to actually draw a line but it works for me.

How about a drawing of a hypodermic needle and a syringe?
