Zeppelin Rules! They incorporated, Blues, Bluegrass, Soul, even Classical music and even Country into the multiple varieties of music they produced.
Ingenious lyrics, incredible rhythms, and never before heard guitar riffs. Classic Greatness!
More importantly they stayed out of politics keeping their music pure. unlike the socialist agenda of some of the Beatles.

Led Zeppelin is the better band. Were the Beatles one of the founding fathers of Heavy Metal? Did the Beatles write the greatest song of all time? Did the Beatles take styles of music from all over the world and put them into their music? No they didn't. Although I respect the Beatles, in my opinion, they are not the better band.

The Beatles paved the way for Zep to do it's thing. Those smart a** "Love Me Do" boys kicked everything up a few notches with "Rubber Soul." From there it was groundbreaking. There were others doing the same things, sometimes better- but The Beatles were the litmus. Zeppelin took things another way, a great way, but I think it's comparing apples to oranges.

When it comes to accomplishments, number of records sold, many firsts, etc. etc. it is definately The Beatles.
But I honestly think there has never been another band that could create such inspiring rock music as well as Led Zepplin.

Not really fair to compare the two as they played different kinds of music. But as far as history goes, the Beatles by a long shot.

You cant answer a question like that, because you cant compare 2 totally different bands. Everyone has the right to their own opinion, so what is good for one person may not be good for the next person. It would be better to ask that question in a poll or survey.
Oh and by the way, I love both bands.
