I'm sure they worry about the poverty in the Philippines,but it's not mentioned as much as the other countries. My wife's cousin was a dentist there. .we send clothing etc once a year.. People do not realize the poverty in the Phillipines. Hopefully your post here in Yahoo Answers might help.

The media is responsible for steering the concern of the public. There may be more coverage of countries other than the Philippines, which results in your observation.

I don't worry about any of them.
We should worry about our own people before some other country.
