We act as solicitors and our services
have been retained by Henry Cox, now late here in after referred to as
our client. On behalf of late Henry Cox, I write to notify you that my
late client made you a beneficiary to the bequest sum of One Million
Seven Hundred Thousand British Pounds in the codicil to his will and
last testament.

Henry Cox died on 8th day February 2004 after a brief
illness at the age of 85. Until his death he was consultant to several
oil and gas industries. He had a sojourn in the United States and so
many other countries before he came to Cairn Energy PLC an oil and gas
exploration and Production Company based in the United Kingdom . He was
a knight in the Church and belonged to several non-governmental and
scientific organizations. He was also great philanthropist.

You are not the only one. I have received many before just with another name or the one I like the best is when they say they are a president of a bank and they have extra money from unclaimed accounts and need to get it out of their country and are willing to give me 5 million and they will only get 2 million. LOL
It's a phishing letter DON'T DO IT

The only people who will get letters will be those named as beneficiaries or anyone else that he asked be notified.

Have u asked your parents or relo's?
usually in The Last Will it will list where each protion of the person that is now deceased and where this will go to. Have u any other relatives. sometimes its a hoax for some fraud freak to get ur details and still your money.

Not only this one man but a lady dying wants to give her life savings to me because God told her to.Not to mention supposed dead ancestors. They're not my ancestors. What's going on? Then there is the S. African lottery scam. BE CAREFUL out there. What sounds to good to be true usually is.

It is a SCAM....i received several letters like yours. Report it as SPAM. One friend believed, and had lost a large amount of money trying to claim it. Get out as fast as you can.

This is a scam, it happened to a dear friend of mine, she replied and they sent her a check for the one million, but it bounced and she had to pay back all the money she spent. Please take care of yourself...

LOL. You only have to send them your bank account numbers, your social security number, your birthdate, etc and they'll send you the money.
