Yes, I had light spotting for about a month and then I didn;t have my period at all for about a year, then I would get a little spotting around the time I would be due for the shot again (ever 3 months). Don't worry about it, I love the depo, I acually am going back tomorrow for another shot....I love not having a period, its the best part of it :)

I have been using depo since 1995. I have about 4 periods a year. Usually right around when I need another shot. They are about half as bad as before I was using depo. But sometimes they can drag on for over a week. Little spots here and there.

You may have regular periods you may not. depends on the person entirely. sometimes i have gone six months without one. i get all the symptons like sore back etc., but nothing else.

if it truly bothers, you bring it up to your doctor.

I was on it and i never had any problems, except i didn't get my period again for almot 2 years after my last shot. that was scary. I've heard that spotting like you are experiencing is normal but if it doesn't stop after a couple more weeks you should talk to your doctor and try something else. I also would not recommend the patch.

I didnt have that problem, but when I was on it i gained around 30lbs. Also one of my friends became pregnant whilst on Depo-Provera after using it for about a year.
