What is wrong with her? What is wrong with everyone?? I know it's cold outside and it's still winter and not much to do outdoors but I'm sick of seeing everyone, including my girlfriend slouch around and do nothing! Life is too short to just waste. I know my gf has kids, animals to care for, roomies to feed, bills to pay and all that but I still don't think that's an excuse to mope around. She can be such a slouch! Now she's saying she may just be in the house even more when it gets hot! Life is short and I think we need to live to its fullest as we can but everyone including her wants to do nothing. I don't want to be with someone who wants to do nothing but I don't want to break up with her either. What am I supposed to do??

Accept her for who she is, or leave!!
Its freakn hot here in Australia, and i'm telling you i aint doing NOTHING that includes being in the sun in summer!! Unless i can go sit under a tree in the shade, then count me out.
Summer will be over soon, then i'll go out again more...... I personally dont see how its wasting life... i enjoy watching tv n sitting under fans during summer.

Each of you needs to meet the other's needs half way.
If either of you is not willing to do that then you are at an impasse and you need to make a change.
I have been down this road myself.
Don't waste years of your life waiting for someone else to get off their duff and either deal with their depression or just show willingness to join you in life half the time.

Perhaps she's depressed,or stressed,or tired,or all of the above. How about helping lighten the load? That might help
