I watched it on Stars this afternoon and was outraged by what humans are capable of. They have started ridulous groups like the KKK and etc.

I have to agree the book is much better than the movie but I love the movie also. I really felt the anguish of the father (Samuel L. Jackson) and how he was so compelled to get revenge. I have to admit if I were him and those two men were likely to get off for murdering and raping my daughter I would've done the exact same thing! But my favorite line in the movie is " Yeah I hope they die and I hope they rot in hell".

The book was better than the movie, but I liked the movie too. I felt heartsick for that little girl and her family.

You mean that movie with Sam yell Jackson? I saw it. I was disgusted by the racism in that movie. I was even more depressed by how much Sam yell screams.
