5 more than twice a number is 29...find the number...
easy...but i figured that u meant any level of easiness.
Chris has a certain amount of money...his mother decided to double that because he had been very good. His cool big brother comes along and gives Chris 5 dollars becuase he felt like it. Chris now has 29 dollars...How much did he start off with?
...that makes it look nicer...harder...but still fairly simple...

You are having problems. I didn't understand your question. If Johnie has 5 more than twice the amount of marbles than Kenny has, and Johnie has 29 marbles, how many does Kenny have.
2k+5=29
2k=24
k=12
Kenny has 12 marbles.
