No. Maybe they enjoy their jobs. Don't you do the same thing day after day whether it be at work or at home?

You may think that it is the same because it looks like they are doing the same thing every time you are there but in reality, it is actually different from day to day. There is always gossip and drama in the restaurant. Whether it is from the guest or the co-workers. It is just like any other job. The functions and the duties may be the same but there is always some excitement in the restaurant from a great story from the guest to a upset, disappointed guest all the way down to who is dating who and where are we going to drink after work. Everyone knows that life isn't smooth sailing in the restaurant industry so alcohol and friends are always a must.

Alot of jobs require you to do they same thing day after day not just restaurant workers.

Well, there are thousand of people in society who "do the same things day in and day out. Think of the assembly line workers.
Oh my God, that would drive me nuts. You know why, it is a personality type. But obviously, you and I have a different personality type....extremely creative. A lot more fun, huh?
But I am thankful for all those millions of people, otherwise we would not have the services and products we so enjoy.

How unobservant you are, very little of anyones life is the same thing over and over again. Better you should wonder if the chicken who lives on a production line and lays unfertilized eggs for your daily omelet is influeincing your world more than you know.

There are a lot of jobs where you have to do the same things everyday. That's why you should get a career, and then you may have a larger variety of tasks. It is unfortunate that jobs aren't supposed to be fun!

Not any more than I wonder how office, retail, construction, nursing, supermarket, telemarketers, etc. can deal with doing the same thing every day.

it is all the same every day no matter where you work all the same same as it ever was ...so deal with it !
