It is totally acceptable. I could see where some people may think that you are a bit fanatical, but you are not, trust me!! Wearing a band t-shirt of another band would be a bit interesting..sorta lame maybe...but laughable too. I went to the Stone's concert in late 2006 and I am pretty sure every person there was wearing a Stone's shirt, including Mick Jagger. So there you go!

No it is not lame. Wear the shirt. It would be worse to wear a different bands t-shirt to the concert.

I would think that if u go 2 a concert u would wear a plain shirt that u wear every once in a while or 2 just use the band t shirt ...cuz 2 wear a different bands top looks a lil takey especially if ur meetin the band its kinda rude!

No people do it all the time. It's be lame though to wear a shirt of a different band.

Its a good idea to wear the shirt of the band you are going to see, because then they will see you are a true fan, but don't wear a different bands shirt! What if they are rival bands? It could be a little disrespectful

it's worse to wear a different band's shirt. if u must wear a band shirt, make it of the band ur gonna see. i don't think it'll be lame or anything. it just shows ur a fan and that u really do like them!!

It is all about your preference. Honestly I don't think it would really matter about what band name is on the shirt.
It is pretty obvious that you are somewhat worried about what other people think. I think that if you were to wear that band's shirt to the concert would be fine, in fact acceptable seeing as you are going to go see them in concert, as for the other band's shirt, I think that it would also be okay if you wore that as well, because it shows your other taste in music, and if you are worried about other people thinking that you're silly for wearing one bands shirt to another band's concert, I think that it is evidence enough that you have tickets to the concert and that you are excited about going.

totally not lame to wear a t shirt of the band that you are going to see and not really lame to wear another bands t-shirt as long as there is no controversy between the bands.

Lol, when I read your question, before I read the details I thought "Not as bad as wearing another band's T-shirt". So I think my opinion is rather clear :P
It's not lame, it means your a real fan...so I wouldn't be trying to convince people that you aren't that excited while wearing the shirt...they won't believe you.

how would it be lame to wear a shirt for the band you are going to see...it would be questionable if you wore another bands shirt.
