Stevens road connects Bukit Timah, the Pan Island Expressway, Dunearn Rd and Orchard/Scotts Road, and is close to Holland and Tanglin Road.
It takes about a 5 minute busride down to Orchard Road, and the walk takes about 15 minute, brisk walk. Its quite a plesant walk, thru residential area and minor roads, though on weekends and after office hours there may be heavy traffic. There are no hills and the walk is easy with sidewalk and trafficlights to cross the road if necessary. Can also enjoy the Festive Lights/decorations.
the bus to take is 190 105 or 132 to scotts road (3 busstops from YMCA), and 190 is the bus that goes down to the heart of orchard road (4 busstops or more).

Very accessible area by bus, walk, quick bus ride from Orchard Mrt (190 bus about 3-5 busstops, depending which part of stevens road), or taxi .
