During Vietnam, Jane went to visit the North Vietnamese (whom we were at war against). Her presence was a propaganda boost for the communists that we were fighting.

She visited the American POWs and ratted them out for asking her to convey messages to the USA forces.

She allowed herself to be photographed on NV anti-aircraft guns that were pointed at our planes.

It gives me great pain to even think about this. For all actors/actresses everywhere, she is a dark spot on their reputations. Its not that she spoke out against the Vietnam War, but how she did it. She misused her good luck in being born into a family that encouraged her acting.
For some reason, Jane Fonda felt that she had to go to that country and expose a very deep pain in our country. She took it upon herself to do what she wanted to do and I don't think she was thinking of anyone else but herself.
Only she can bear the terrible guilt that comes with such an act. That is indeed her resting place in our American history. She will not be known as a fine actress - Who Cares? Her contribution to our society is one of shame. She will always be known as "Jane Fonda" and the woman who couldn't care less about our soldiers.
If I could, I would ask her, "When you were sitting in that airplane, did you once think of anyone other than yourself?" Because the emotional damage hasn't died, but lives on in the memories of American vets everywhere. That's a lot of shared memory. Only she can deal with it, because the responsibility of what she did will be with her always. I can only hope that one day she will truly see what she did to everyone.
And may God forgive her, because I'm pretty sure it will be hard for everyone else who was there, who saw and felt it.

She's called Hanoi Jane cause during the Vietnam war she sided in with the enemy in ways that would get POW's brutalized and killed. I don't have enough room to go into all the terrible things she did against the country siding in with the enemy. Years later she does a quick oh I'm sorry about all that you know. Well now she's back into the anti war protests just like she did during the Vietnam war!!! She hasn't changed. And Kerry was part of her doings in the Vietnam war also. She's a horrible woman.

Jane Fonda took the side of the Viet Cong in the recent war and made it clear to our troops where she stood. Being a liberal is one thing, but being a traitor is another. She is no darned good.
Her position on the Viet Nam war was so anti-American that she hurt everyone including herself. She actually posed for pictures with the Vite Nam soldiers and visited American prisoners of war and made anti- American comments to them. She said she was misled. BULL! Now she is at it again.

Late during the Viet Nam War the traitorous went to North Viet Nam. She sat at an anti-aircraft gun and was given a brief lesson on how to operate it. She made the remark about how nice it would to have the opportunity to shoot down an American aircraft. She was given a tour of American POWs and believed the reports from the North Vietnamese that prisoners were fairly treated and never harmed. She never forwarded the messages from those prisoners. Instead she informed on her own countrymen causing them more harm. She gave aide and comfort to the enemy. She's a traitor to this country and should have been stripped of her citizenship and flown deported from the country. She's never apologized for her traitorous actions.

cause she's a traitor. during the Vietnam war she helped the Commies. i've read that she went to American POW's and got info from them, and give it to the enemy. (if she had been just a protester, that's one thing. that kinda **** right there is treason though.)

she was photographed sitting on the enemy's anti-aircraft gun. said she would like to shoot down American planes.

there's more i'm sure, but that is enough to make me hate her. and if it were up to me when she had tried to reenter the country after that, she would either have been barred from entering, or taken into custody for treason. actually i read a Vietnam Vet say on here yesterday that her daddy Henry Fonda called in some favors and that's why she wasn't punished. i think he knows better than i.

they call her "Hanoi Jane."

During a time when we were in a hot, shooting war, the Commie traitor ***** sat in a Vietnamese anti-aircraft gun for a photo op, and turned in American POWs for trying to communicate their plight through her to the US. This directly caused more torture and pain for our POWs. You should be able to look up "Fonda" "Viet Nam" together and get the whole story. Or go ask any retired Green Beret.

She visited the North Vietnamese(the enemy) during the Vietnam War and said some things that were considered un-American. She was given the nickname "Hanoi Jane". Hanoi was the capital of North Vietnam. She has since apologized for being insensitive to the troops.

The main thing she did was actually do some photo shoots with North Vietnamese leaders. Basically she was in their propaganda. Some have actually said that she should have been tried as a traitor because she gave comfort to the enemy. I just think she was tremendously misguided.
