I am black and I live in a very diverse city where there are many mixed race people and couples. I have many black friends who get annoyed or angry when they see white women with black men. Before it didn't bother me when I saw a white women with a black man, but now it's starting to, because seems like it's some kinda of trend, like they are rejecting their own women. I just wanted to know what you (black and whites) think of these kind of couples?

I do kind of feel it is becoming a sort of a "trend." It's happening way more now than ever ( yes I know becuase society is more expecting blah blah blah) but i've heard black men say that they feel black women are too assertive, loud, brash etc. they get this stereotypical thing in their head about black women, and just automatically most of the time don’t give them a chance or the time of day. So in a way some men are rejecting black women

This is 2007 and we still call these couples interracial. Why can't it just be a couple? Anyway I have nothing against white women dating black men and vice versa. Seriously, I got too many things do to worry about this. Do white women and black men dating cause any damage to society? no plus let them date who they want to date its a free country. people are always worried about things that they can't control. No one makes a big deal about black people hanging out with only white people or vice versa so why should it be big deal. I know racism is still alive in this country.

Why is everybody looking at this like it is some kinda "trend"? When I met my black b\f 9 years ago i wasn't think of "oh let me get in on this trend" I love him for who he is and vice verse. I would still love him the same if he was white, I wasn't out to look for a "black man." I don't look at it as if a white man sold out on the white race if he loves a black woman.

So why is it looked down upon more when white women are with black men verses black women with white men???

Statically of Black men who marry in uncomplicated words 7% practice miscegenation and in uncomplicated words 5% are with White women human beings. The information are decrease between Black women human beings. So my aspect is that if 93percentof Black men are marrying Black women human beings why might want to I be worried with the 7% that do not? And as you also reported the information are even decrease between Black women human beings. i'm for the upkeep and promoting of Black love, Black solidarity and the Black kin. i do not care why White men are not to any extent further marrying Black women human beings. opposite to the sensationalized media the U. S. Census speaks for itself. also i will say for my area i do not understand any Black/White interracial couples for my area and that i understand many married couples. in reality basically this year I witness many weddings between my friends and kin that were between Black men and Black women human beings. So again why might want to I be worried with the variety of small crew of human beings?

Seeing couples like that doesn't bother me, people can date who ever they like we're all humans. I would think if you look around you would see black women with black guys, black women with white guys etc. I think the more important thing is that the person they are dating is nice person who is treating them right and cares about them not the colour of the skin. We're all human beings.

I don't believe there is anything wrong with it at all, any black man i ask why they prefer white women they say it is because they are less self centered and demanding as a black woman. They also say it is because white women are attentive and warmer then black women.

To each his own. I prefer a sister. She is the quintessence of all that is joyful under the sun.

I've dated a few white chicks, the only thing I like about white chicks is that they seem to be more accpeting of the female gender role. A lot of black women act like they want to wear the pants, and I just don't go for that.

It doesn't even bother me at all. Because I see plenty of Black women dating white men and Latin men. As long as they're happy it doesn't bother me the least bit.

Don't care really. If a Black man wants to be with me, we will be together. It's really that simple. There is no shortage of Black men (perhaps it appears that way in certain areas), white men, latin men, asian men, middle-eastern men, native-american men, pacific islander men, etc.

Who people decide to be involved with is no personal affront to me.

Live and let live...don't think of them as black and white - just people who found each other and love each other.
