Depends on what you're into - my best purchases were the Civilization Strategy games by sid Meirs... spent hours on them probably ended up spening like a tiny fraction of a penny per hour on them...
If you like shooting games - well there are a bunch- check out Gamespy.com - have a friend who works there... reviews are honest and reliable...

i'm not sure what kind of games you are looking for, but if you go to megagames.com they have a bunch of freeware games and alot of them are full games. just pick the one you want and dowload it.
