It's not right at all. It's all over the world, not just in Africa. It's sad, and no one should ever go hungry. ~~~

You need to watch 20/20 from this past Friday. We need to feed the starving american children before we go giving any money our government might have, to another country. Look at all the good that people like Oprah are doing in Africa, if you think not enough is being done. Diane Sawyer shows how there are starving families in the US, that over a year, it has not changed. A little boy goes to school for the first time and is asked to name all the meals in a day and tell how many there are, he has no answer, due to not knowing if or when he will eat again. There is poverty here, let's make a difference here first.

I agree. Their are also people right here in the U.S.A that are living in inhumane conditions. I believe Africa needs our help, but so do some americans. For example my hometown is kicking the homeless people right back on the streets, because a community feel's a homeless shelter in their community will increase the crime rate in their area. What I don't understand they fell it's ok for the homeless to sleep outside in below zero tempeatures. I fell we need help in the U.S to stop inhumane treatment for our fellow americans.

Let's make a difference in our own towns before we try to change something halfway around the world. Want to make a difference? Volunteer at a homeless shelter or the food bank. Don't expect politicians to make a better world for you. Do it yourself!

No, but why do people stay where there is no food? If I were in Africa, I would tell my people, "Hey, let's migrate to Europe, where it rains more, people have jobs that earn money and we can find work. The Mexicans in North America do it all the time."
