I have lived here a few years, but it seems we always eat out at the same places. Just wondering if anyone knows of some good places to eat in or around Sunnyvale, or the south San Fancisco bay area? No large chains, please! Okay thanks!

If you already haven't been there, Dishdash in downtown Sunnyvale is lovely place. It gets crowded soon so you might want to make a reservation.

There's a Brazilian place named Senzala in Sunnyvale. Food is good and so is the place.

German place named Hardy's Bavaria is also good, if you like.

As the previous answer suggests, Il Postale is also a nice Italian restaurant.
Have fun!

I LOVE Hobee's - It's in Mountain View, off the exot that has the Krispy Kreme doughnuts. Take that street west? All the way to Central Expressway (Before the railroad tracks) and it's behind the gas station. They have the BEST omlettes, and this cinnamon tea that ROCKS! then you have to get the blueberry coffee cake...Here I searched Mountain View Ca + coffee cake and it was first on the list. Enjoy it for me! I live too far away now!

Hobee's
