Absolutely. Drivers bully other drivers on the roads, tailgating and cutting them off, refusing to allow them to get over, just so that they can have their precious few feet of a lane. Abusers bully their victims so that they can feel like the Big Man or Powerful Woman that they don't feel like unless they abuse. There is bullying in the workplace. Speaking of workplaces, I have seen customer service deteriorate to the point of where you could almost call today's customer service as bullying. Done dealing with a customer who has a legitimate question or problem that you don't want to deal with? Just say "NEXT" in a rude tone, ignore the customer and move on to the next one. Here is my biggest bully pet peeve - kids today bully their parents. When I was a kid, I was taught to respect my elders. I have raised my own kids the same way, yet society, television, kids at school and peers, all seem to be modeling extreme disrespect for each other in the way that they talk to each other and to authority figures in general. I have heard many times of kids bragging how they told off a police officer or a teacher. My own kids have rudely tried to bully me into giving them their way by being hateful toward me and pretty much daring me to do something about it. Of course I don't stand for that. Point is, yes - bullying is a major problem in this world. Isn't bullying also the biggest reason why wars happen to begin with? Thanks for the question.

Bullying has been around since Cain and Abel. It's human nature. What we need to remember in our schools and homes is that there are ways to handle it.
Instead of parents running to the principal, we could teach our children what we did in the old-timey days. Hey! There's an idea. We could teach our children to use their wit, brains, and humor to combat the bullies.
I had to protect myself and my two baby brothers and if we went crying to our parents, we could expect a licking. So we learned real fast. I developed an outstanding, quick wit and by the time I was in high school, was quite the class clown...

It's becomming more and more vicious today. It seems people aren't satisfied hurting someone......they want to literally destroy people. It's like I'm going to do and say whatever I want and I dare you to try and stop me. It's sick. It's not enough to kill someone.....you have to mutilate them and put their head on a stick for more impact. It's more how low can you go. People are using the internet to destroy fellow students, cause problems with teachers, sabatoge efforts of people trying to make an honest difference in something they believe in........I mean it's a great tool and a cowards way out of dealing straight up with an issue when it's so easy to hide behind the computer screen.

Yes.
That's a nice way of describing what the murderers did to the American public on Sept. 11, 2001, and in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii by Japan.
So we either say NO - and back what we say - or we are bullied again and again and again.
GOD bless us always.

No, not really, what I see is humans getting more and more greedy, wanting something to impress others, spending money they do not have, and wonder why their children are overweight video, tv junkies, and they are more miserable than ever being broke all the time because all of the 'stuff' they have bought to make their lives more enjoyable......

Yes I really do. I feel that Radical Republicans bully everyone who disagrees with them. They are trying to take away our freedoms to free speach. They discredit anyone who doesn't agree with them and they are as radical as the Islamic extremists in the other countries.
