'80s - mostly because of "The Joshua Tree", their best album to date.

The 80's because they could do no wrong- great songwriting, they grew as a band, socially conscience without overdoing it (they were just a band from Ireland, not this big Logo with wrap around glasses), and they put out the best tunes!
