I was in a car accident, supposed to die, my small instestines were cut in several places by the seatbelt, which it took them a week to figure out and found it in exploratory surgery, and I didn't wake till after over two months in a coma. They said, the surgery, where they cut me from under my breast all the way to my private, busted back open, while in the coma and had to go in and do more surgery. Since then, I've had operation after operation putting mesh in my entire abdominal wall, which breaks open all the time, so it's like a yearly operation I have to go through, and it's necessary, because without the mesh, my internal organs have no protection. Just wanted to know if anyone out there has had this, and if there is something else they can put besides mesh so I don't have to keep getting all these surgeries.

I found this website while searching on the net for your issue. I know it's mainly for complex hernia repairs, but it may be better than the usual synthetic mesh they use. Maybe you should try going to another facility/doctor to see if they have some better ideas for your situation.
