When I was younger and watched the show it didn't seem wierd or anything but looking back, it seems like a rather odd name. When my the kids in family discussed the show and charecters the adults must have thought the name sounded like something else. I used to think it was simply a way to tell the difference between Ed and Edd but now I'm begining to think otherwise. What do you think?

It's been a long time since I have seen the show, but from what I remember, it was just a way to distinguish which one was Ed and which one was Edd. While Double-D may be suggestive, things may just be what they are on the surface without any second or hidden meanings.
