x^2+12x+36 = (x+?)(x+?) , what number is the question mark , well , what times what get you 36 and when you add those two together get you 12 , think for a while you should be able to come up with 6 and 6 , then you put 6 and 6 to those question mark , and (x+6)(x+6)=(x+6)^2

formula to use: A^2 + 2.A.B + B^2 = (A + B)^2
x^2 + 12x + 36
= (x)^2 + 2.x.6 + (6)^2 >>>> [A = x and B = 6]
= (x + 6)^2
