Wear a cummerbund, not a narrow belt. A cummerbund is approx 4-6inches wide, and usually made of satin material similar to lapels of tuxedo.

absolutly not, it is a must that you wear suspender unless you go with self fasing pants with the clips on the side. Plus I doubt you be able to find tux pants with belt loops.

I personally do not like it. If you have to wear a belt cover it with a cummerbund (strictly black).
