We are in San Diego for a few days and aren't sure if Sea World is worth nearly $60 for each of us (two). Also, my husband is disabled and has difficulty with a great deal of walking. Are the shows centrally located or easy to access without a great deal of walking? Is Sea World overly crowded during January/February during the week? Are the shows impressive? Is it easy to get to the attractions if the park is crowded? Are the shows scheduled so you can see each of them without having to wait hours between shows? If we are going to miss one or more, which are the best to miss? The shows we are most interested in are:

Believe - Shamu Show
Dolphin Discovery
Clyde and Seamore's Risky Rescue
Pet's Rule
R.L. Stine's Haunted Lighthouse

Also, what about the rides? Which are the don't miss rides?

Yes, its totally worth it!
It shouldn't be too crowded right now.
They do set up the shows so you can see them all. Are you going to rent a wheelchair? We've done that for my friend who has bad knees and also my daughter who has Crohn's disease. It worked out really well.
I liked the animals and shows better than the rides-- that's what I would focus on. If you catch some rides, then fine.

Have a WONDERFUL time!!
I'm envious of you down there! :)

If you have never been then it is worth it. This time of year it is the low season so crowds will not be an issue. As for the shows they have several of each one so you don't have to wait hours between them. All of the shows you mentioned are good to see. If you had to miss one, I would probably say unless you are going with kids you can miss Haunted Lighthouse. Not that it's bad, but I felt it was mainly ment for the Teen and Under age group.

For Rides they do not have many rides there. They have a raft ride(forgot the name) that is not one you will want to go on in the winter. The other major one is Journey to Atlantis which is a combination Log Flume, Roller coaster. You also can get wet on this one but not as much as the rafts. The other one is Wild Artic, it is a motion simulator ride, but they also have a stationary version if you don't want the motion. If the Skytower is open that gives a great view of San Diego bay, and try to hit this at dusk.

Sea World is fun. As far as $60 per person that depends a lot on how you view money, lol.
I would say the shows NOT to miss are:
-Believe (its Sea World and its Shamu...kind of a given)
-R.L Stine (cool stuff)
-Clyde and Searmore's Risky Rescue.

Most shows are fairly good/cute and entertaining. If you're going to miss one I would go for Pet's Rule.

The schedule changes daily/weekly. I am sure they give a fair amount of time between shows so you can see them all.

As far as rides...Journey to Atlantis, Shipwreck Rapids, and Wild Artic are fun.

ummm...well. right now its cold so it shouldnt be crowded. the rides arent to bad but i like rollercoasters so the rollercoaster there was the only ride i really liked. but if you dont want to get wet DONT SIT IN THE FRONT ROWS OF THE DOLPHIN DISCOVERY!!!! it was horrible. soaking from head 2 toe. but the shows are very cool. be sure to go on the helicopter simulator to get to the polar bear exhibit. WALKING IS INVOLVED. but the park isnt that big so you can see all of it. be sure to ride journey to atlantis and thr river rapids.
