No, not in Cabo, but in a small town north of there called Todos Santos. I have been there many times and heard this rumour. Its a cute little place and a nice little town to tour around.

Bakersfeild,CA...now defunct....but back in the pre-70's it was a major stop of hwy 58 ...which is the californias version of route 66.
Of course before the interstates.
