Keeping your nails clean and healthy will help them remain beautiful. Make sure you wash your hands often. I try to do it whenever I come home, before meals, and after using the restroom. If there is lotion available at that point I put it on to help add back some moisture. It is really important to add some moisture back to your body at this time of year so make sure you're drinking plenty of fluids.
I once found that my nails looked their best when I was using a "leave in" style of hair conditioner. I would rub the stuff in my hair after I got out of the shower and then not bother to wash it off my hands. It made my nails and cuticles the healthiest they've ever been! So my little "miracle cure" for nails has been a little hair conditioner rubbed in after every shower. Any type works.

Take Gelatin supplements (results in a few months) and use Mystic Nail brands. It's cheap and it works. Lotion after wards you paint your nails. Any polish you put on before that will not adhere to the nails. Hand repair usually is more intensive than cream. Put on the repair with gloves at night and sleep (if you can stand it) and cream during the day! Good Luck!!!

If your nails are natural...first soak your nails in some warm water with some liquid soap in it, then push back your cuticles (don't cut them), then file your nails with a medium grit nail file, buff them if you choose, and apply a nice nail strengthener. You can follow up with polish if you choose. After your polish has dried thoroughly you can use a cuticle oil (like solar oil) and a hand cream. The kind of lotion depends on the dryness of your skin. Don't use any kind of oil or lotion before your polish. Hope this helped.

Taking care of your nails you need to clean them. Wash your hands and then clean under the nails. You need to push the cuticles back using a cuticle stick and do this gently it might be a bit painful the 1st time. After you push the cuticles back is when you use lotion on the skin around the nails rubbing it in very gently. then you can apply polish if you want.

Well soak them in soapy water or just take a bath. Then if you have some put cuticle cream on and push them back. After that is probably when you would want to put the lotion on and put a clear coat of nail polish on. I use sally hansens maximum growth because my nails are always short. then put on your color if you wanted one, and another clear coat on top

Well, I have very long and strong nails, and I think that it depends on the person, and what you put your nails through daily. Does your job put stress on your nails? I take a multivitamin for my hair, skin, and nails that I got at Wal- Mart for $8, but I think the main thing is just to not get stressed out or put unnecessary stress on your nails. And clip unhealthy nails right away.

Even if your nails aren't manicured weekly, you can still make them look nice by keeping them clean, shaped, and clipped and the cuticles soft( with oil) just file , apply cuticle or vitamin e oil ( rub it in to cuticles and apply nail hardener, then polish.
Use hand cream daily, they do need moisture daily .
