do the people from that isle think in such terms, seems i would not be porr, if i were to get away from them, you know i think those people bring alot of poverty, why did they not want them to apply in the great depression,i really do not want to live near them, =even the rich ones, what is it why do i feel this way

I think Anjelina Jolie is genuine. She reportedly gives a 1/3 of her income to charity, and she has used her celebrity to draw attention to worthwhile causes, and donated much of her freetime to help also.

You have to understand that many celebrities, while they have all these "great ideas", these ideas cannot be implemented as easily as they claim, not in the real world, anyways. Musicians and movie stars live in the land of "make believe." They're out of touch with reality.

BTW Bono, the artist that made the statement in your title, recently made Switzerland his tax shelter so he doesn't have to pay taxes in Ireland, thereby avoiding spreading his wealth to the poor in Ireland.

There's a reason I don't take the politics of entertainers seriously and I suspect most people don't.

I think people who talk about making poverty history really mean well.

As for you, I guess its difficult living In a poor neighbourhood. But you seem to have good skills, and a desire to better yourself.

Why don't you take an English course, to improve your English, the you could go into teaching, computers or something.

Don't look down on others because they are poor or rich, it will only make you bitter.

Focus on helping yourself and other to better their living conditions.
