That's awful. It feels llike you have your neck in a brace when you even start to look up. I have had that one and I am glad I don't have it any more and I am sorry that you do. I am going to be one of the people on Yahoo! Answers, here, who is going to advocvate for you going to see the chiropractor. Mine cleared my problem out with one visit. If you are not able to get any help just now, begin to help yourself by putting some ice on it for twenty minutes at a time and then waiting a bit, like about an hour, and then do it again. The ice causes everything inside your whole neck to contract, which makes more room for everything to move around again, so you should very soon be able to feel some mobility returning to that "up" movement. My heart goes out to you this evening, and I sincerely hope you are feeling much better, very soon! Sent with good energies from Chris, In South Portland, Maine, U.S.A. (I am 63 years old and have had occasion to visit the chiropractor for a number of things. He is very good, the person I see, and he has also studied deep tissue massage and trigger points and a lot more. He is, in my opinion, a real healer. That is, he creates a situation where healing can truly take place. I know, because I have seen it happen over and over again. I hope you find a good friend in the chiropractor as well as a person capable in the healing arts, just as I have.)

Have a talk to him when he calms down a bit. He probably feels a bit embarassed or rejected. If you are going to get involved in roll play or fantasy it is very important that you have a safe word so if at anytime you don't want to continue you can say it. Make it something completely unrelated like "cricket" so it can't be mistaken. Don't make it "Stop" because he could misunderstand that as part of the roll play.

To be on the safe side, you should go now to the Hospial A&E and get it looked at...don't leave anything till tomorrow.. besides at least the doctors there can have a look and give you medcine for the pain, and treat you. could even be a small fracture which should be seen to immediately
Besides you might not be able to sleep tonight, and by the morning it could be worse or swollen
Just go now

The truth is that none of the people who have answered this question are qualified to diagnose your condition. The only sensible thing to do is to go to A&E and get your neck checked by a Doctor ASAP.

Whiplash. It's not an emergency (like go right now) but you need to see your doctor. He can give you some muscle relaxants if you need them. Your neck muscles are in spasm.

You need to see a chiropractor to get the neck bones back in line. NOT clever to get other than a expert to fit it! - unless you fancy being a paraplegic.

Whiplash. You need to see your doctor. Probably not going to get better without some medical intervention. (I think this, but don't KNOW this. Am not a medical expert.)
