im a 15 year old freshman in high school, in 5'2'', and im 106 pounds. I think im wayyy fat when i look at myself in the mirror, but then i go on the scale n im 106, 109, 105 (my weight kinda bounces around) Do i have a problem?!?!?!?!?

First things first, your weight will always fluctuate throughout the day based on food consumption, drink, clothing and shoes. Always weigh yourself first thing in the morning with no shoes and socks on and before you have eaten anything, this is your true body weight.

Next, I consulted a BMI index and you are at a healthy weight for your age and height. I provided the link to the BMI index I used, if it doesnt work just type in BMI (or body mass index) into your web browser and one will pop up.

No. But it depends on where your weight is distributed at. Do you see very small people at school all day? That impacts your self-esteem. But 106 seems like an Ok weight, if not a little small for a freshman.

Your probably not "way fat" for your height you should weigh about 105-115.I listed a really awesome website below. It calculates your BMI or body mass index. You are about my height weight and im turning 15 this month. I think the reason most peoples think their fat is because they want to be more toned. Hopefully this is helpfull. :)

No wayy I'm a freshman and thats about where my weight is too.. Its about normal. But if you look at yourself and think your fat, it might not be that you have to lose weight just try toning your muscles so it doesnt seem flabby lol. But thats not overweight at all so don't worry.

honey you just gotta chill. girls these days seem to be so preoccupied with weight. Your weight is perfect for your size and everyones weight bounce around like that. weigh yourself once in the morning after you use the bathroom and that's your weight. but really, i'm sure you're beautiful although very self conscience when you shoudn't be.

You are not fat. That's an average weight for your height and age. Unless you starve yourself, you do NOT have a problem.

that sounds about right. if you arent happy with the way you look, try some aerobics or light weight lifting to tone up your muscles.

keep still on the scale. get a new scale. you sound about the right weight.
