A better question would be "why would anyone want to be famous?". Look at the scrutiny famous people live under. Would you really want sleezy people with cameras following you around 24/7?

3. enter talent shows and competitions to see if you are any good, friends might be too nice to tell you the truth
4. let your talent be known-
if it is singing, american idol... (if you live in america, if not the other iidols-canadian idol, pop idol, etc.)
