Yes he is still alive and please don't believe the ridiculous stories about his neighbor. That is an old urban myth without a grain of truth to it. That story has been circulating around the Internet for ten years. I cannot believe how poorly read some people are. they hear some stupid story and never have the intellectual curiosity to investigate it on their own. It is false, it is false, it is false.
Thank goodness that there are REAL historians in the world like me to put out the brush fires of rumor that destroy factual history.

Neil Armstrong is still alive, but is a very private individual, for being one of the most famous men on earth.
Even in the years immediately after his historic walk on the moon, Neil Armstrong limited public appearences, unlike most other astronauts.

No Neil Armstrong is still alive, although his neighbour died a few years ago a happy man.
As a teenager, Neil remembered his neighbours having a argument where the wife said to her husband, "You want oral sex!?? I'll give you oral sex when the neighbours kid steps on the Moon."
When Neil did land on the moon he said something like "I hope your happy now Mr. ....". It was only after his neighbour passed away when Neil Armstrong told the actual meaning to his statement.

No he's alive. and here is a true and funny story u may not know!
When he was a boy he used to practice hitting balls on to a tin fence, this drove his neigbours Crazy, they also knew of his desire to be a astronaut. One day the neighbours husband wanted a bit of lovin!! The wife was overheard answering by neil,,"SEX U WANT SEX? I'LL TELL U WHEN U CAN HAVE SEX, WHEN THAT BOY NEXT DOOR LANDS ON THE MOON!!" Any way when neil landed on the moon he can be heard muttering something other than his "famous" words..... it was" GOOD LUCK MR....." Funny story that i didnt believe at first but checked it out and its true!!!
