The variation in the refractory period between different men is enormous. I know one guy in his 40's who can get it back up in 5 minutes, over and over again, 12 or 15 times in a row. He is amazing. On te other hand its pretty normal as you enter middle age for it to take an hour or even several hours to get it back up after even a single ejaculation.

If your talking about gaining an erection after ejaculating 2 or 3 times, it depends on the person, some may not want to get erect for a while, some probably wouldn't after ejaculating the 1st time.
Give it a few mins, you'll definitely be able to get hard again after an hour.

After having sex two or three times, most men want to rest for at least a few days. I think most would like to rest after doing it only once. Semen requires significant energy and nutrients to produce, not to mention all the exercise involved in having sex. Once the man is done, he needs to rest to replenish his energy and stores of semen for sex to be pleasant for him. Good night!
