i got a d in algebra 2 trig. I took algebra 2 over the summer. So does the alegebra 2 overshadows algebra 2 trig. Or i have to take algebra 2 trig over again to have the grade replaced?

you need to speak with an academic advisor at the college, however, in my experience, the only way to replace a grade with a better grade is to take the exact same class at the exact same college, unless the college's regulations prohibit such a thing.

That is up to the school or school system but usually it has to be the exact same course for the 1st grade to be erased.
