Can a Guitarrist Became better at something after practicing it?

Lets say that someone started to sweep pick but they did not had the best source and they stink at sweeping picking can they after several months of playing sweep picking become better at it if they practise with a better source?

after a while, you will start your own style. even though some one else teaches you to play, no to people play the same. practice as much as you can with what someone else can teach you, but eventually you will create your own style.
