Where can I find some ear plugs that actually work?

I've tried every brand and version of those worthless plastic/spongy ear plugs from my local Blooms and CVS and they don't do a thing whatsoever. Is there anything out there that can block every sound out completely? Like maybe some small earphones made just for this purpose?

You can buy ear plugs that are molded from your ear.Either at a ear DR. or from someone who sells hearing aids.I have some.Cost is around $50 and I have had mine for about 10 years so they do last.
