Do you need an HD TV to play Playstation 3?

NO an HDTV is not necessary but you won't get getting the most out of your system - the graphics on the PS3 are made to be experienced on an HDTV.

no you don't need an HD TV to play your ps3, but it won't be as sharp or crisp. the best picture you can get out of a standard projection or flat screen TV is by hooking the ps3 up with component cables.

i don't think you need a hd tv to play ps3, my brother has a small tv in which he plays his ps3

no. you don't need an HDTV but it's really pointless to get one if you can't play the games in HD.
